Sherrie Day is the VP Global Head of Merchandising at Starboard. In her role Sherrie spearheads all aspects of the company’s worldwide merchandising strategies and tactics to deliver outstanding product assortments and operational excellence in Fashion, Beauty, Logo, Liquor, Food, Essentials, and all CL branded development. Sherrie’s 30 years of retail experience has been instrumental curating unique assortments and innovating Starboard’s custom product development offerings.

In her current role, her duties encompass overseeing global buying functions and working with more than 750 brands across various categories, price points and geographies. Under her leadership, the merchandise team curates a vibrant world and enhances the guest vacation experience with distinct and memorable onboard activations that seamlessly align with cruise line partner’s brand positioning and guest portfolio. Sherrie joined Starboard in 2019 and served in a variety of leadership roles, including Senior Director of Merchandising and Vice President of Merchandising. Through these roles, Sherrie demonstrated her extensive retail industry expertise, management experience and forward-thinking approach. Prior to Starboard, Sherrie held multiple senior leadership positions at national retailers, such as Target, JC Penney, Soma and Shopko Stores.
